New assignment!

August 7th, 2008
by Croga

Yay for me, I’ve got a new assignment! It’s been way too long since I’ve done something useful.
The Amsterdam Power Exchange (auctioneer for surplus power supply and demand) is changing the way they do business with Norway. The implementation of this new way of doing business will be my responsibility (well, the IT side of it at least).

Painting dah house!

July 31st, 2008
by Croga

Yup, we’ve started. The entire ground floor will get new and bright colors.
Of course this is only the start of a complete redecoration. The plan is to create the same feeling as in our bedroom; with soft dark red colors, dark grey tones and green and golden highlights. It’s not a project that will be done any time soon, we’re gonna take the time to get it right. The first step is the painting, next is the curtains and couch, after that we’ll see what’s to follow….

But you’re all waiting for Pictures, right?

It’s Indie rock’n'roll for me.

April 7th, 2008
by Croga

It all started somewhere last year when my wife was listening to The Killers. From fast paced “Jenny was a friend of mine” (ideal car music for sure!) to the laid back “Andy, you’re a star” it was all very enjoyable music. Especially since my best music moments are indeed in the car (two to four hours every day). And although “Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll” is pretty clear on what kinda music it is, I didn’t look any further. Read the rest of this entry »

*frown*

February 29th, 2008
by Croga

When I posted last week that the palsy had hit (again) I searched around on all kinds of websites. Every single one of them stating a different time for recovery from 3 weeks up to about half a year and beyond. Well, guess what; my frown is coming back already! Read the rest of this entry »

And when you think you’ve had it all….

February 21st, 2008
by Croga

So last week I was feeling a little under the weather. Not really all that bad, just a little headache, a little coughing, you know how it is…
Saturday my mouth felt like it was burned from eating something too hot. Nothing strange, but looking back it was the first symptoms.
Monday I called in sick to work. Pain in my lower jaw. Checking the internet it said something about the facial nerves and something started to dawn on me. I’ve been through this before, some 25 years ago…. Read the rest of this entry »
